I am a designer who lives in code, entrepreneur, and an idea incubator driven to make our world a better place.
Moody and epic series of architecture photos, Deserted City, was captured by Denmark freelance landscape and architecture photographer Kim Høltermand. During the day Kim works as a fingerprints expert in The Crime Scene Unit of The Danish National Police.
Multi-disciplinary design consultancy Antrepo took on the challenge of stripping down various brands to a minimalistic state to strengthen the brand by removing the noise. For each product they took it through two steps to simplify and then simplify more. This fun challenge is more or less the reverse of the Microsoft iPod packaging spoof video. See the entire project on Antrepo’s blog A2591.

Interactive agency Struck/Axiom with offices in Salt Lake City, UT and Portland, OR recently relaunched the brand focused site for Newcastle Brown Ale (with the help of agencies Vitro Robertson and TWC). Their new approach uses almost nothing but beautifully shot video scenes and minimal text overlays. Impressive work!
Lately I have been drawn to creative executions that use simple and minimal elements to tell a story. Design collective PFADFINDEREI based in Berlin, Germany used a combination of fabric, wind, well placed lights, dancers and illustrations for German music artist Moderate.
PFADFINDEREI’s other work is fantastic—their commissioned art installation for Nike, Yellow Lounge room design, film for Volvo DrivE, and various typefaces.
