“For their Fall Collection Jiberish decided to venture outside of their traditional lookbook and create a video to showcase a few pieces through film.” —Michael Clark, videographer and creator of the lookbook.
As a bonus, I just realized that Michael Clark is active on Tumblr and using our Swell theme.

This by far has to be one of the coolest accessories for your DSLR, an aerial drone with perfect stabilization and ”autonomous GPS position hold” that locks the drone into place even in high winds. This would be an amazing tool for journalism for safe flyovers of events or disasters.
Perspective Aerials posted an additional video showing off all the features of their new aerial drone system. The only potential downside would be the loud buzzing from the flying drone if you’re recording the audio at the shoot below.

Everybody gets knocked down, how quick are you going to get up? Excellent spot for Nike by agency Wieden+Kennedy, Portland, directed by Brian Beletic at Smuggler, and visual effects by MassMarket.
It especially interesting to notice that Nike is representing sports outside of their normal realm—MMA, bmx, and bull riding.
Lately I have been drawn to creative executions that use simple and minimal elements to tell a story. Design collective PFADFINDEREI based in Berlin, Germany used a combination of fabric, wind, well placed lights, dancers and illustrations for German music artist Moderate.
PFADFINDEREI’s other work is fantastic—their commissioned art installation for Nike, Yellow Lounge room design, film for Volvo DrivE, and various typefaces.

Shot with the extreme macro Canon MP-E 65mm lens and the 5D Mark II body
Shot entirely with the Canon 7D over three days, Patrick Lawler put together an interesting and beautiful film. I love all of the close-up shots of the eyes using the Canon 100mm macro f/2.8 lens. Hopefully Canon release the firmware update soon to allow for 60fps on the 5D Mark II as well.

Video Concept:
”After entering his personal sanctuary, an artist is presented with a hand-crafted drawing tool that assists him in materializing his mental impressions. The machine discharges his thoughts as an endless web of yarn that guides him through his physical thoughts. The story progresses to reveal that he is divided between two worlds, one of dull reality and the second of warped memories. In the process of finding a way out of his consciousness, he is trapped between the two competing spaces, which eventually inflict lethal damage, acting as metaphors to self-destruction.”
A beautifully shot entry by DVS for Transworld Skateboarding’s 2009 Skate & Create contest.
